The Hotel looks very nice from the outside and the room was very clean and comfy although there could have been more pillows.

The Double bed…very comfy but lacking pillows

The bunk beds, set into a little recess in the wall so the don’t stick out into the room

The view from our bedroom window

The hotel has 300 rooms spread over two buildings, each of which has two floors with lift access. Designed for 1 to 4 people, they comprise either a double bed or twin beds and the majority are fitted with bunk beds. All rooms are fully equipped with personal air-conditioning system which is controllable via a thermostat outside the bathroom, a table with chair, a very small wardrobe with a few hangers (only enough space for 5-8 items of clothing though), personal safe (located in the wardrobe), telephone and television with French and international channels (only BBC World News in English).

A hospitality tray with coffee (2 sachets), tea (2 tea bags) and biscuits (2 again) is also offered in each room, however I do not know if the Hotel sells further supplies. The bathrooms all have a bath, shower and a hairdryer.

Cots are provided free of charge subject to availability.

WiFi Internet access is free throughout the hotel.

BreaKfast was provided in the restuarant. It was a usual continental breakfast with a selection of pastries and cereals. The breakfast room was very, very cold and they had the air-conditioning running as well. Dinner was also served in the restuarant priced at 19.90 euros per adult and 8 euros per child however they were doing a ‘kids eat free’ offer during our stay. We did not have an evening meal here unfortunatly.

Vienna International Magic Circus Hotel

The Vienna International Magic Circus Hotel at Disneyland Resort Paris is located at in Marne La Vallee just 10 minutes away from the parks by free shuttle bus.
Shuttles also run every ten minutes during peak times so if you are unlucky enough to find there is no room on one another will arrive shortly.

Previously this was part of the Holiday Inn hotels so the review may not be up to date

The Magic Circus is the hotel to the left of the photo.

The hotel from the back:

RECEPTION AREA:
When we arrived we found a large reception area very spacious and bright, it had a long reception desk with a couple of staff.
The check in was very quick (as there was no one else there) and the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English.

The photo is taken looking towards the exit doors the reception is on the left.

The reception area contained information boards about the hotel and a leaflets stand containing information about the wild west show, shopping complex to name a few.
There were also computers for guests with internet access.
Straight ahead of you was a small Disney shop that had a small selection of disney merchandise, then to the left (around the corner) was the large bar area with lots of seating, which then lead on round the next right hand corner to the resturant.

From the bar area are doors that lead onto a large patio seating area.
Also in this area is a children’s carousel ride, pool tables and other games machines.

If you were to continue past the bar area to the right just before the restaurant are children’s chalk boards.

RESTAURANT:
Only ate in here for breakfast but this had a very good selection of food, there was a hot selection of sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs. The cold selection of cereals (coco pops, frosties and weetabix) fresh fruit salad (really lovely) cold meat, cheese, rolls, croissants and Madeira cake! Toast, butter and jams. Drinks available orange juice, tea and coffee. Very good breakfast.
(Did have one morning where there was no where to sit and they ran out of spoons but the other mornings were fine).

OUTSIDE AREAS
The hotel backs onto a man made lake with nice views

There is also a litlle play area for children:

SWIMMING POOL
Pool was okay just very basic with another smaller children’s pool. Bit disappointing really, no slides etc could have been designed much better, but never mind the kids still loved it.

ROOMS
Our room was 202 on the Mezzanines level not far at all from the reception area, it was quite small but clean, tidy and nicely decorated in a circus theme (but not too much!)

Main area:

Had a very comfy bed with bedside shelving, lights on both sides of the bed and one behind the headboard.

Room had one wardrobe with plenty of hangers and lots of space for a short stay. Also in the wardrobe was a safe.

Then there was a chest of drawers and a dressing table with another wall light.

The room had tea and coffee making facilities (topped up each morning) The good size TV had a clock and alarm on it. Tv channels included disney and a bbc news channel.
There were also a chair, a couple of stools and a suitcase stand.

Children’s area:

Bunk beds with a (circus theme) curtain, both bunks had their own light which they could turn on and enough room under the bunks to store both suitcases.

They had their own TV and a couple of shelves.

Bathroom:

The bathroom had a bath and shower (within the bath).

Toilet and sink with a large mirror and decent hairdryer (not like some you find in hotel rooms with hardly any power) and little extras like tissues and face cloths.

There was also standard size bottles of dove body wash in the shower/bath and by the sink.

Our room was to the side of the hotel and looked out to the hotel opposite.

View to the right out of the window:

View straight out of the window:

View to the left out of our window:

Window had one opening and heavy blackout curtains.

The room was air conditioned with easy controls.

All in all a very good hotel would highly recommend it, fantastic value for money and we would definitely stay there again.

A Selected Hotel situated Near The Magic in Val de France

The Explorers Hotel was opened by the MyTravel Group in March 2003. It is the French Manor house home of legendary explorer Sir Archibald de Bacle who has hung up his travelling cloak and invites families and their children to become part of his fearless crew.
Bedrooms

Crew rooms (standard bedrooms) have a double and 2 single beds and sleep up to 4 people. Adjacent to some of the crew rooms is a bunk cabin with bunk beds for 2 older children (under 16 years) and an additional TV. By using rooms with connecting doors, it is possible to book accommodation for up to 6 people (1 standard crew room + 1 bunk cabin) or even up to 10 people (2 standard crew rooms + 1 bunk cabin).

The Captain’s Library is a table-service dinner restaurant which also offers children’s meals and has a small play area.

Leisure facilities

The Explorers is a non-smoking hotel with the exception of the Smugglers Tavern.

Check-in is at 3pm although if you arrive earlier than this you may arrange with reception to leave your bags in the luggage room. On the day of departure check-out time is 11am. Again, you can use the luggage room to store your baggage until it is time for you to return home.

*~* DREAM CASTLE REVIEW ~ DISNEYLAND PARIS *~*

The Dream Castle at Disneyland Resort Paris is located in Marne La Vallee 10 minutes away from the parks by free shuttle bus.
The hotel has its own “mascots” which walk around the hotel at breakfast times etc.
Shuttles busses run every ten minutes during peak times so if you are unlucky enough to find there is no room on one another should arrive shortly.
We had previously stayed at the Holiday Inn and My Travel Explorers which are all in the same location next door to each other.

We decided on this hotel this time as we wanted to try it after travelling past it on other trips as it looked a lovely hotel.

Luckily we also got a fantastic deal through Expedia for 5 night for £335.30 this worked out to be at £61.18 per night for a family of four including breakfast. This was during June half term 2007 (Monday to Saturday)

RECEPTION AREA:

When we arrived we walked through the large sliding doors, straight in front of you is a statue of a king, behind him are a couple of “thrones” which the children loved sitting on for photos.
To add to the castle theme in the reception area there is a sword in the stone (like at the Disney Park near the castle) a ball pit for younger ones, a carousel ride, balloon ride, and further through the reception area pool tables.

To the left at the end is the large reception with check in, check out and information. To the left of the reception is information desk and baggage storage. Plenty of seating is placed around all the reception areas.
Information boards and leaflets about the hotel, Disney Village, Wild West Show, things to do in Paris to name a few are available.

The check in was very quick (as there was no one else there) and the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke very good English.

To the back of the reception area are outside doors leading to the gardens.

DISNEY SHOP

To the right of the entrance is a small Disney shop that had a good selection of Disney merchandise.

HOTEL IN GENERAL

The whole of the hotel was decorated in the castle theme with good attention to detail all the doors had metal ironwork on them (sorry can’t think what they actually are!) walls had flags on them even the carpets had sword designs on them. It was very clean and well maintained. Great for children and adults.

OUTSIDE AREA.

Very well laid out patio area, plant pots and water feature, leading lovely gardens with plants and flowers leading out to large grassed area with a small play park and beyond this a large lake.
The gardens are lovely to walk round after the noise and crowds of the parks it was lovely and peaceful just what you needed after a lovely meal and wine! There is loads of space for the kids to run around (even after being on their feet all day they still have the energy!)

RESTURANT:

This was definitely the best hotel we have stayed in for breakfast.
Firstly when you arrive at the restaurant you are shown to a table by very friendly staff (despite being rushed off their feet) which we found great after being at other hotels where you had to find a table.
If the resturant has no tables free they open up the evening resturant which is just across the corridor (you do have to go into the breakfast room to get your food but coffee pots are on the table) this made such good sence it meant no one was left waiting for tables. The other room is actually nicer to sit in as much much quieter but we only got to eat it here once durring our stay.
The tables were also set up with paper table mats, salt pepper etc, and always clean! Obviously due to the hotel being full it was very very busy but after the first morning you got used to where everything is and there was actually never a queue for anything it was always very quick moving. Staff filled up hot breakfast, meats, and breads constantly so there was never anything missing!
Breakfast had a great selection of food; there was a hot selection of sausages, bacon, beans, fried potatoes (either in cubes or slices) and scrambled eggs. Then a cold selection of cereals (coco pops, frosties, cornflakes etc) fresh fruit salad (proper fresh fruit which was really lovely including pineapple, melon, apple, orange etc ) also separately pineapple rings, apricots and peaches as well as dried fruits, figs, prunes etc. Then there were cold meats and cheeses (ham, different sausages, turkey a couple of different slices of cheeses) and a selection of salad! Lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes!
Then different breads for toast with huge selection of jams and marmalade and nutella!
French stick, rolls, croissants and chocolate pastry and buns!
Drinks available orange juice, apple juice, milk, water, tea and coffee.
Very good breakfast.

EVENING MEAL

On our last night we decided to eat in the restaurant it was a buffet with good selection of cold sea food, hams, meat, and fruit. Followed by another good selection of hot dishes including a beef, chicken, lamb, steak and rice dish.
Desert was a lovely big selection of well deserts….mmm.
It was a nice meal in lovely surroundings but expensive spent more in here than in the Disney village.

SWIMMING POOL

Pool was okay quite small with a small slide but it was so cold, I actually just sat on the side and watched
(Did go in the hot tub which was warm)

Well that’s the basics of the hotel as I have posted so many pictures I can’t add my room review (and photos) on this thread as I can only post 25 photos per thread, so will have to do that on another thread. (hopefully tommorrow if I have time!) Not sure if they can be merged later?

If you spot any mistakes please let me know so I can edit them! It’s taken me so long to do this….

As you approach the hotel it looks as if you are about to enter a drive-in movie theatre showing an old Clint Eastwood Western.

The hotel consists of the main building housing reception
Click on this link for a virtual tour of the lobby area.
http://www.disneylandparis.com/uk/vi…a_fe/lobby.htm
as well as the La Cantina restaurant, the Rio Grande bar, a lounge with a huge copper covered wood burning fireplace, the Pow Wow games arcade (extra cost), a children’s play area with activities on certain days and a shop. One of the famous Disney characters makes a personal appearance every morning in the lounge area for photos and autographs. At reception you can also book meals and shows, exchange currency and use the safety deposit boxes. You can park right outside your room.

Surrounding the main building are 49 “pueblos “ built in traditional New Mexico adobe style.

THE ROOMS

The hotel offers the most affordable accommodation on site. It has 1000 bright and colourful Mexican themed guest rooms (non-smoking rooms and rooms with wheelchair access are available) which can accommodate up to four people in two double beds.

Bunk beds are available in some rooms and cots are available on request. The cheerful decoration includes bright Navajo Indian style geometric patterns on the mirror frame and bed spreads.

Click on this link for a virtual tour of a bedroom
http://www.disneylandparis.com/uk/vi…rd_bedroom.htm
All rooms have a telephone, radio (including Disney fairytales) and television with international channels and, of course, the Disney channel. If you use the telephone to give you an alarm call Mickey himself will wake you up!! Tea and coffee making facilities are available at an extra cost. The en-suite bathrooms all include bath with shower facilities. Towels and soap are provided. A hairdryer is also available on request. Each building has an ice machine.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

At La Cantina European dishes are served up alongside Tex-Mex specialities such as fajitas, burritos and tortillas in a recreation of a Santa Fe market. In the fun “food court” style buffet guests collect their salad from the back of a real Dodge truck which is parked up like a counter and petrol pumps double as drinks dispensers.

The walls are covered with decorative hubcaps.
A children’s menu is also available. Sombreros, cactus and a Grand Canyon mural decorate the dining area beyond.

The restaurant seats 700. Continental breakfast is included in the room price or you can request a Fantasyland breakfast in the Chalet de la Marionnette at no extra cost, which also gets you into the park an hour early. A hot American-style breakfast can also be purchased at a supplement.
Click on this link for a virtual tour of La Cantina

In the Rio Grande bar enjoy one of Disney’s imaginative cocktails or maybe another Mexican speciality a Tequila Sunrise. There is also outdoor terraced seating. There is live music or karaoke in the bar most evenings.

Click on this link for a virtual tour of the Rio Grande Bar
http://www.disneylandparis.com/uk/vi…grande_bar.htm

SHOPPING

The Trading Post offers a good selection of Disney theme park souvenirs as well as snacks and drinks, toiletries and a range of hotel logo products. If you have made purchases in the parks and had them sent to the hotel you can collect them here in the evening. Photos taken with one of the characters in the hotel lobby can also be viewed and collected here.
Next door to the hotel is a petrol station which also sells basic groceries.

SERVICES

In the hotel grounds there is a Mexican playground “Totem Circle”, themed on the relics of an Indian village

Check in time is 3 p.m. but if you arrive before that you can leave your luggage here while you head off to the parks. Check out is 11 a.m. but again you may leave your luggage and collect it later when you are ready (or as ready as you’ll ever be!) to leave.
Shuttle buses leave every 15 minutes or so – more frequently at busy times. Or you can walk to the main park in 15 - 20 minutes on the path that runs alongside the Rio Grande between the hotels Santa Fe and Cheyenne, round the edge of Lake Disney and through Disney Village.
There is no pool or air conditioning though all rooms have a ceiling fan.

SUMMARY

A very basic but clean and comfortable hotel “in the heart of the Magic” which provides everything you could need with no frills

Guest Rooms

The Guest Rooms at Sequoia Lodge come complete with natural wooden furniture and are comfortable and well equipped. When making your Sequoia Lodge reservation you can choose between a Standard or Montana room.

What is the difference between a Standard and Montana room?
Montana Rooms are situated in the Main Building — giving easy access to the hotel facilities. Furthermore, they also have a minibar.
Standard Rooms are located in one of the hotel lodges. They do not come with a minibar.

The two room types come with all the same facilties (except minibar) and are of the same decor standard and size.

Plan of standard rooms -

Standard Rooms overlook the woodlands, paths or car parking of the hotel. However, occasionally you may be lucky and get a standard room with a “partial” lake view.

Breakfast
All Sequoia Lodge Hotel packages include breakfast. Breakfast is taken at one of the two hotel restaurant each morning. Upon checking-in you will be asked to pre-book your breakfast seating times. This allows the hotel to try and ensure that the whole 1,011 room occupancy does not arrive for breakfast at the same time. However, many people still find the breakfast experience extremely busy and very crowded. It may be best to avoid the most popular times (8am-9am) or take advantage of the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast option. This is available for no supplement, but must be reserved in advance.

What is “Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast”?
Guests staying at Disney’s Newport Bay Club/Sequoia Lodge/Hotel Cheyenne/Hotel Santa Fe have the option to enter the Disneyland Park one hour before the “official” opening time to enjoy breakfast within the park. This scheme was set up to help reduce the crowding at the hotel restaurants around breakfast time. This choice allows you to enjoy breakfast within one of the Disneyland Park restaurants. As mentioned before, this should be booked in advance, costs no additional fee and is subject to availability. No Disney characters attend the “Good Morning Fantasyland” breakfast.

Suites
Sequoia Lodge has 9 suites, and each comes with the exclusive “VIP FASTPASS” benefits, allowing you to make use of the fastpass facility on attractions in the parks (unlimited). PLEASE NOTE: Sequoia Lodge suites do not come with room service. Honeymoon suites are available for a supplement, with lake views.

Arrival/Departure procedures

Rooms are ready at 3pm on the day of arrival, but if you arrive earlier than this time you can drop off your luggage at the baggage desk and collect your park passes for entry in to the park. An optional Sequoia Lodge Charge Card is available, which allows you to charge gifts, meals, etc. all to your room account. Express check-out is also available. The Sequoia Lodge identity card gives you access to the hotel swimming pool, breakfast and facilities. On the day of departure your room should be vacated by 11am. However, call the front desk if you plan on staying a little longer - usually it is not a problem if you let them know in advance.

If you have any questions or comments regarding The Sequoia Lodge Hotel, then please post them here!

Thank-You to The Tech Board for their help!

*3 stars+* *Mid-Range*

SEE AN EXCELLENT *VIDEO* TOUR OF THE NEWPORT BAY CLUB EXTERIOR BY CLICKING HERE

Disney’s Newport Bay Club is an elegant, nautically themed and wonderfully located Disneyland Paris hotel backing Lake Disney. Decorated in the style of turn-of-the-century New England this resort gives the feeling of being in a yacht club with an elegant and relaxing ambience. The Hotel has about 1,083 rooms making it the largest hotel in Europe. Newport Bay Club is about a 10-15 minute walk from the two theme parks. For concierge type services, there is ‘The Admirals Floor’ which is on selected floors of the hotel. Many people descirbe Newport Bay Club as a Disneyland Paris version of The Yacht/Beach Club, and as you can see from the photos - it looks very similair. The only negative point is the fact that with over 1,000 rooms it can get extremely busy and the lobby can get completely full of people, especially during 2-4pm when people begin to check-in.

TIP - it is better (if you can) to arrive early, drop your bags at the baggage desk and then go on into one of the parks and come back later on (after 5pm) to check-in ~ when it has calmed down a bit.

SEE 360 DEGREE TOURS OF THE NEWPORT BAY CLUB HOTEL BY CLICKING HERE

The hotel has the following facilities:

*Indoor & Outdoor Swimming Pool Complex*
IMHO The Nantucket Indoor Swimming Pool (which is also linked to a large outside pool) is the best in Disneyland Paris. The Indoor Pool has a large themed ship and the large outdoor pool (the biggest at Disneyland Paris) is great in the summer. The swimming pool also a health club with a jacuzzi, gymnasium, sauna and steam room.

*Free Car Parking*

*Free shuttle bus to The Disney Theme Parks*

*Concierge*

*Currency Exchange & ATM*

*Children’s Corner*

*Video Games Room*
Situated near the Nantucket swimming pool with a variety of games machines.

*The Bay Boutique*
In my opinion, the best Disneyland Paris hotel shop. The Bay Boutique is large a well-stocked offering a range of Disney merchandise.

*The Yacht Club Restaurant*
Gourmet specialities including Sea Food, set in a very elegant atmosphere. See the menu here

*Cape Cod Restaurant*
Slightly cheaper cuisine, offering Mediterranean and European dishes in a relaxed marine setting atmosphere. See the menu here

*Fisherman’s Wharf Bar*
With a view over Lake Disney, this bar provides the best place to enjoy a drink inside the lobby.

*Captains Quarters Bar*
Serving delicious cocktails in the luxurious atmosphere of a piano bar.

Guest Rooms

The guest rooms at Newport Bay Club are spacious and nicely decorated with nautical whites and blues and possibly a balcony. A lot of the rooms also have a magnificent view over Lake Disney towards Hotel New York in the distance.

360 DEGREE VIEWS OF STANDARD NEWPORT BAY CLUB GUESTROOMS CAN BE SEEN HERE

Facilities Include:

•One or Two Double Beds
•Television with international channels including the Disney Channel
•Telephone
•Air-Conditioning
•Mini Bar
•Bathroom
•Safe
•Radio
•Balcony (select rooms only)

Standard rooms usually overlook the manicured front lawns or gardens and Lake-View rooms are available for a supplement. During off-peak times it may be possible to ask at reception for a Lake View room and (if one is available) they may upgrade you free-of-charge. Honeymoon Suites and Resort Suites are also available for a supplement.

Breakfast

All Newport Bay Club packages include breakfast. It is taken at one of the two Newport Bay Club restaurants, although you may have the opportunity to make use of the ‘Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast’ which allows you to enter The Disneyland Park early and enjoy your breakfast in one of the parks restaurant. Character Breakfasts are also available (usually for a supplement (depends on your tour operator)) and are taken at a Cafe Mickey in Disney Village. Be sure to make a reservation in advance. The breakfast is buffet style and comprises of cold meats, bread rolls, croissants, cereal, fresh juices etc. Hot food is available for a supplement. Make sure you book breakfast times with the concierge as soon as you arrive as the queues can get very long during the more peak times - you allocated a time slot for breakfast each morning.

Admiral’s Floor
The Admirals Floor has rooms on select floors of the hotel with extra services. These include a private reception desk, 24 hour room service, breakfast served in your room (supplement) and porters. Have a look here for some more information.

Newport Bay Club has suites available for a supplement:

The Honeymoon Suites are located in a separated tower of the hotel. Each suite has a living area, king-size bed and a balcony overlooking the lake.

Your room will be ready at 3pm on the day of arrival, but if you arrive earlier then you can drop off your luggage at the baggage desk and collect your park passes for entry in to the park. An optional Newport Bay Club Hotel Charge Card is available, which allows you to charge gifts, meals, etc. all to your room account. The Newport Bay Club identity card gives you access to the hotels swimming pool. On the day of departure your room should be vacated at 11am.

~*~ Hotel New York ~*~

* ~ 4 Stars ~ Deluxe ~ *

Designed by Michael Graves who was also responsible for the Swan and Dolphin hotels in Disney’s resort in Orlando. Here in Paris he uses his distinctive style of design to capture the feel of the sky scrapers of the Big Apple.

In comparison to the other Disney resort hotels the Hotel New York can seem a little more restrained and formal, unsurprising when you realize that it was originally designed for the convention business rather than the tourist trade. Some people find it’s theming lends a more business and less magical atmosphere which feels out of place when compared with the other properties. However, it has excellent levels of service, superb rooms (if you like 1930s style) and a wonderful skating rink in the winter! Inside and around the hotel you will find many symbols associated with the city including Big Apples, a yellow taxi cab and numerous images of the ultimate New York icon - the Statue Of Liberty.

Set on the banks of Lake Disney the Hotel New York is the second highest ranked hotel in the resort and is just a gentle 10 minute stroll to the two theme parks. There is also a free shuttle bus available. It’s also very well placed for visiting the choice of restaurants in the Disney village, plus those at Sequoia Lodge and the Newport Bay Club

360 degree view of the Lobby

Bedrooms

The 572 rooms and 36 suites are each decorated in an art deco style. Offering some of the most spacious rooms in the Disneyland Resort they sleep up to 4 people in two double beds, or some rooms contain one king size. Throughout the room little details continue the themeing, with the big apple design on the cupboards and the sky scraper style lamps.

360 degree view of a Standard Bedroom

There are great views from the rooms on the front of the hotel that overlook Lake Disney - these rooms are available at a supplement. Other rooms over look small landscaped gardens, while some at the rear offer glimpses of Discoveryland.

The bathrooms are larger than those at the mid-range and value hotels with two washbasins and a telephone! Though one thing to consider is that the washbasin is in the bathroom, rather than outside it.

Telephone
Television with international channels
Radio
Hairdryer
Air conditioning
Safe
Minibar (Please note these are now very hi tech, so don’t move anything unless you want to pay for it!!!)
24 hour Room service is available at this hotel

Empire State Club

In the three upper floors of the hotel, 34 of the rooms and suites now offer guests a more exclusive experience with the following.
• Exclusive personalised welcome area
• Continental Buffet Breakfast in a private lounge with Disney Character(s)
• Exclusive in-room services with dedicated staff
• VIP FASTPASS
• Relaxation area with free soft drinks
• Possibility to book interconnecting rooms (upon request and subject to availability)

Lake view rooms are available for a supplement.

Restaurants and Bars

At the Parkside Diner 1930’s Formica tables and shining chrome set the scene of a typical New York style eatery. Here is some general information about the Parkside Diner and a dinner menu

The Manhattan Restaurant offers a more formal setting, and is now an upscale Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the famous dinner dances found in New York’s leading clubs. Here is some general information about the Manhattan Restaurant and a dinner menu

360 degree view of the Manhattan Restaurant

In the lobby area of the hotel you will find the New York City Bar - a pleasant place to sit, and apparently has a very large choice of cocktails! The downside is that it can get crowded with businessmen in the evening.

Breakfast is served in both restaurants from 7 - 11 am. The continental breakfast is usually included in the package and a hot breakfast can be added for a supplement.

The Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast is NOT available to guests staying at this hotel. But as the hotel is smaller, the queues at breakfast shouldn’t be so bad, though it may still be best to avoid the most popular times of 8 am to 9 am. Or for a small supplement, you can have your breakfast delivered to your room.

Activities

The Downtown Athletic Club offers an Indoor heated swimming pool, with a connected outdoor heated pool during the summer months

360 degree view of the Pool
Jacuzzi
Fitness Room
Sauna and steam room

The Rockefeller Plaza outside the hotel becomes a skating rink from the end of October to around the beginning of April (subject to weather conditions) Cost (in 06/07) is 12 EUR per adult and 9 EUR per child (under 12) including the skate rental.

During the rest of the year, the Plaza is currently turned into a small Go-Karting track.

360 degree view of the Rockefeller Plaza

The children’s corner is situated near the lobby. It’s well placed by the big windows looking out from the front of the hotel, making it a nice place for parents to sit while keeping an eye on their children! Amusements include colouring stuff and a television showing the Disney Channel, plus various activities on certain days.

Shopping

The New York Boutique offers a small selection of theme park merchandise as well as a range of clothing and New York Hotel Logo Products. This is also one of a handful of locations in the resort where the “Walt Disney Classic Collection” Fine Porcelain Art Figures are available to buy.

The Hotel also offers

Laundry/Dry Cleaning service.
Wi-Fi Access
The Times Square Games Arcade
Hair Salon
Solarium
Massage
Two outdoor tennis courts
Valet parking

(at an extra charge)

as well as Concierge, Bell Service and Currency Exchange

And in case you’re interested, the Coliseum Convention Centre boasts over 5,000 square metres of meeting space!!

Shuttle Bus

The walk to the parks is no more than a leisurely paced 10 minutes, but if you are feeling tired a free shuttle bus runs between the hotel and the station

Fastpass

Guests staying in a suite receive a VIP card for almost unlimited Fastpassing!!

Arrival/Departure procedures

As with all the hotels at Disneyland Paris rooms are ready at 3pm on the day of arrival, but if you arrive earlier than this time you can drop off your luggage at the baggage desk and collect your park passes for entry in to the park.

You will be given the Disney Hotel Easy-Pass when you check in, which gives you access to the hotel swimming pool and health facilities, (as well as free access to the Disney car park and to the Hurricanes discotheque in the Disney Village). By leaving credit card details at reception, his card may also be used as a charge card in most DLP shops and restaurants.

On the day of departure your room should be vacated by 11am, though again you can store your luggage at the baggage desk and enjoy the parks until your journey home
